History

The university profile initiative "Mechanisms of Change" was launched by researchers of the Faculty of Psychology and Human Movement Science after the faculty `s foundation and promoted through the strategic appointment and bundling of research activities in integrative joint projects. The current focus areas of the profile initiative were developed In a faculty-wide Scientific Retreat in 2018. Since 2022, Mechanisms of Change is supported by the Open Topic Professorship of Nico Schuck, who currently also serves as our speaker.
Our research goals and central questions are formulated in such a way that there are numerous interdisciplinary points of contact.
